Ponsse’s roots grow deep in the Finnish soil, in Northern Savonia’s Vieremä. Designing of the high-quality Ponsse Collection clothing and accessory line is driven by sustainability targets, which guide us to favour local production and materials, that are better for the environment. We have selected to partner with PaaPii Desing Ltd in Ponsse Collection because of our matching values. Moreover, the Finsket brand’s items are awarded with the Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu) demonstrating that the products have been made in Finland, creating Finnish jobs – just like Ponsse forest machines.
From growth rings to a pattern
The Ponsse x Finsket collaboration collection is designed together with Finsket’s brand manager Juha Järvinen and clothes designer Paula Isopahkala. Our beautiful line-drawing pattern laying on top of the deep and dynamic anthracite base was inspired by the Ponsse’s growth rings, embracing unforgettable stories and forest machines from many centuries.

Deep in the Ponsse’s grains originates a partnership between forest machines and humans, while respecting the environment. That is why it is important to us to have the products made of 100% GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified organic cotton, which puts less strain on nature. Moreover, the GOTS certificate pays attention to working conditions and ensures that people working in the textile manufacturing industry are treated legitimately.
The Ponsse x Finsket collection’s textile items are sewn in PaaPii’s own factory in Kokkola Finland, which uses 100% renewable green energy. We want to increase transparency and you can see each textile product’s comparable CO2-eq value. The stylish home items in the collection, such as trays and cutting board are made of Finnish birch in Pieksämäki Finland. Their long lifespan is guaranteed by the melamine surface, which is environmentally friendly.

Each item made with a thought has a journey which does not end in a wardrobe – you will want to use the item daily. We have added care instructions on the product information cards for each Finsket clothes, to guide you take care of them correctly and extend their life. Please remember that only once used piece of clothing can be refreshed by airing it outdoors.
